Vertical Half Hitch Knot

This simple knot forms a spiral patter when tied in a chain, or sennit. It consists of one loop.

Step 1:
Bring the working cord over the core cord; loop it around and back under the core and through.

Step 2:
Pull Tightly.

Step 3:
Tie each loop exactly the same way, being careful to consistently loop in the same direction, over and through.
